As you can see in the sidebar (and on my Twitter page), I have succumbed.
At first I ignored the trend, then I resisted, then I became busier than I ever have in my life this year, then I liked the idea of dropping comments about films and being cryptic in 140 characters, then I joined.

i refuse to twitter on principle. then again i said i'd never join facebook either. i'll hold my ground for now.
I'll need another film recommendation for the 09 NYAFF (June). You recommended ADRIFT IN TOKYO last year and we (surprise) both enjoyed it. Just keep in mind I'll be bringing my better half again who loathes film (none the less, subT films). Thanks in advance JG.
I think Twitter would suit Yakuza thugs well. They rarely need more than 140 chars:
「殺るんなら、今ここで殺りないや！」
「ハジキ！！ ハジキ！！ ハジキ！！」
「戦争だ〜いすき」
etc.
This year there are some great titles but going by what you're saying it's probably safter just to see something like MONSTER X STRIKES BACK: ATTACK THE G8 SUMMIT for a goof.
i think i'd enjoy that film very much (a kaiju thing), but the wife, not so much.
